What is the slip rating of your anti-slip products?

Our premier High Build Epoxy Floor Paint is specifically formulated to meet and in many cases exceed guidelines set about by the Health and Safety Executive in the UK. Those guidelines state that floors should meet the following slip resistance ratings:

Minimum Slip Resistance Value 34 - 51
Acceptable Value 51 - 70
Exceptional Value >70

For further anti-slip security, certain floor paints that we provide, such as Resincoat Anti-Slip Floor Paint and Resincoat Non-Slip Decking Paint, provide a variety of anti-slip profiles, each serving a distinct purpose in minimizing the risk of slipping. These profiles range from fine, medium and coarse, allowing us to tailor the level of slip resistance to specific flooring environments:

Fine anti-slip profiles - ideal for indoor spaces with light foot traffic. They provide subtle texture without compromising the ease of cleaning.

Fine Anti-Slip Value 58

Medium profiles - strike a balance between traction and cleanability, making them suitable for more commercial spaces.

Medium Anti-Slip Value 66

Coarse profiles - intended for heavy-duty environments like industrial settings or outdoor areas where water or oil presence might heighten the risk of slips. Be advised: the cleaning of a coarse anti-slip is more difficult and the finish is not suitable for mops, therefore brush cleaning would be more appropriate in this instance.

Course Anti-Slip Value 70

Please Note: the key element to achieving good anti-slip properties is to apply the paints in a thin coat. Otherwise the particles can sink under the surface and become ineffective.
