Our formula allows easy application, making this the perfect choice for the DIY-users whilst also maintaining the strength, quality and reliability, with great chemical resistance and anti-slip for both industrial and commercial environments. Proudly manufactured in the UK, our resin components ensure a highly durable finish that is incredibly resilient, ensuring your repair can withstand heavy traffic, lasting for many years.

Below, you will find out general guidelines for application:

Preparation

  • Before using one of our Concrete Repair Mortars, we recommend that any hole or defected concrete be thoroughly cleaned using a wire brush.
  • Once clear, vacuum the area to ensure that it is free of any remaining dust or dirt.
  • For particularly weak, dusty or flaking surfaces we recommend the use of Resincoat Tack Coat, which creates a stronger bond between the substrate and repair mortar.

Prep Mortar

Mixing

  • Mix using a slow-speed 1200w+ electric paddle mixer. Mix Part A on its own for 2 minutes until homogeneous.
  • Add Part B and mix for a further 2 minutes. Slowly add part C and mix together for 3 minutes. Mixing too fast will cause trapped air in the mixture, avoid this where possible.
  • Adding all of Part C immediately will result in a sandcastle-like consistency. For a wetter mix, don’t add all of Part C.

Be advised: Once activated, all product must be applied within the pot life of the product: 30 minutes at 20°C.

Mixing Mortar

Application

  • The mixed unit of Resincoat Repair Mortar must be applied immediately. Ensure the area has been cordoned off for safety purposes and to prevent the area being walked on whilst the product is curing.
  • Once mixed, trowel the product evenly across the surface. Be sure to compact the material with the trowel whilst applying. For a perfect, smooth finish regularly wipe the trowel with a cloth dampened with white spirit as you apply.
  • The formula may be applied at 5-50mm thickness and can be feather-edged at 5mm. Once applied protect from weather and leave to cure.

Please note: the pot life for this product is 30 minutes.
